Integrid - Bridging the Gap
53 KPI results Primary business oriented KPIs within HLUC03 are described below as well as the sequence diagram which guided the demonstration of HLUC03. It can be shown that the HLUC03 results below provide proof that tools and methodologies can in fact improve asset management performance and impact on grid quality-of-service and operational efficiency. Table 4.20 - HLUC03 KPIs and Description KPI Result Description Asset Health Awareness 6 Asset health awareness, qualitative indicator on a scale of 1 – 10 (1 – extremely unaware, 10 – extremely aware) for the awareness of the process owner regarding every equipment life-cycle stage. The result has an index level of 6 compared to the baseline and asset health awareness of today which is 4. Reduced unplanned outages through predictive maintenance 39% Percentage improvement in overall SAIFI, entire network, calculated as number of unplanned outages and concerned customers compared to baseline. By studying 2016-2019 outage statistics for distribution transformers of 500 kVA and above, baseline, total SAIFI can be improved by 39% if predictive maintenance can avoid all normal outages on distribution transformers of 500 kVA and above. HLUC04 Fault location The demo at Ekerö is equipped with 12 fault indicators and part of an MV network connected to two primary substations. The area served by the two substations has a total of 4,000 customers. Through online communication between fault indicators and the centralized operations centre, outage time can be reduced and repair costs can be lowered. Our primary KPIs within HLUC04 are SAIDI, CAIDI and ENS. These values are presented from 2016 to 2019 in Table 1 together with some other key indicators that are interesting for WP7 and WP8. The values from 2016 to 2018 make up the baseline to be compared with 2019-2020 when fault indicators were fully integrated into SCADA/ADMS and the work management system. The data is without major events and only three major events have occurred. Primary business oriented KPIs within HLUC04 are described in Table 4.21.
