33 Results from HLUC05 - Manage the impact of flexibility activation from resources connected to the distribution network The sequence diagrams shown in Figures 4.12 and 4.13 describe the execution of HLUC5 in both time periods – day-ahead (evaluations are performed every hour until gate closure; the time frame of the evaluations are the 24 hours of the next day) and intraday (the evaluation is made upon request (directly after an mFRR bid activation by the TSO) for the time of the activation). The demonstration of HLUC05 considered eight test scenarios, divided into both evaluation modes (day-ahead and intraday). Test scenarios #1 and #2 considered normal network operation configuration, with real flexibility fromDER engaged for the project. Taking into account the flexibility resources available in the Mafra MV network, no grid constraints were detected in these test scenarios, as can be seen in the KPI results in Table 4.4. The following metrics were calculated as a result of the HLUC05 demonstration. Table 4.5 shows the KPI results for test scenarios #1 and #2. A brief description is also provided.
